PAINTINGS

Unlike tattooing, which is generally commissioned work that incorporates and reflects the client's wishes and ideas, my painting is fundamentally self-motivated and free in its choice of themes and execution. I work with a wide variety of techniques and media, with charcoal, ink, acrylic and oil paints, paper, canvas, or wood offering me the desired diversity and variety. The motifs and ideas that engage me are often inspired by tattoo culture or belong to a mystical, Buddhist-influenced context. Painting often serves as an experimental field for me and takes place almost exclusively in a near-meditative state. Although the results of this work are, in principle, for sale, their creation is never based on a commission or a commercial approach.

Graphics

I often take on graphic design commissions for posters, textile printing, or similar projects as a change of pace, creating designs within a framework agreed upon beforehand with the respective client. Naturally, my style is close to my usual preferred forms of expression and motifs, but unlike in painting, I also incorporate the client's specifications.
